Community engagement through beekeeping with Foundation Honey Co. From elementary and middle school Career Days and hive tours, our Bee in Community program promotes collective action and a stewardship mindset. We teach children how beekeeping can strengthen their community and agriculture in STEM.
Since its inception, we have introduced over 7,500 children in underserved and rural communities to beekeeping. Inviting us into the classroom gives children the opportunity to engage in a new experience and expand the world around them. Our Career Days include services to:
J.D. Davis Elementary School, Columbus, GA
Russell County Middle School, Russell County, AL
Dixie Elementary School, Opelika, AL
PCIS, Phenix City, AL
In addition to participating in Career Day efforts, we also host Hive tours for local Seniors through the Columbus Academy of Lifelong Learning, private groups, and individuals.
Embrace the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and build a stronger, more connected community. Join us and be a part of positive change today.
