Foundation Honey is dedicated to supporting the self-sufficiency and empowerment of veterans who have suffered trauma. Through our unique approach, we leverage the therapeutic and economic advantages of apiculture to aid in their recovery and reintegration into society. Our programs provide veterans with hands-on experience in beekeeping, fostering a sense of responsibility and engagement.
By integrating apitherapy, we offer a holistic path to healing, combining the physical and mental benefits of beekeeping with the opportunity to build new skills and pursue economic independence.

Heroes to Hives
"Heroes to Hives" is a program designed to empower veterans through beekeeping, fostering skills in sustainable agriculture while promoting healing and self-sufficiency. Since 2015, the Heroes to Hives program has been leading the nation in training military veterans, National Guard members, Active Duty personnel, Reservists and their dependents in the art and science of beekeeping. The Georgia Beekeepers Association is dedicated to promoting and supporting beekeeping across the state. Honey bees have been the official state insect of Georgia since 1975.
